Terms and conditions
1. This promotion is open to anyone aged 18 or over and under-18s provided they are accompanied by an adult.
2. The offer (Your M&S Short Breaks) entitles two people to receive the appropriate discounted room rate at their chosen hotel or B&B when they book one or two nights’ accommodation in a standard double room. For stays longer than two consecutive nights, your chosen hotel will charge the full room rate tariff, unless otherwise agreed by the hotel in advance.
3. Rates are discounted off the hotel’s full tariff. This rate may be fixed throughout the duration of the offer - January 2010-April 2010. Rates quoted are either per room per night based on standard double B&B room rates, or represent a fixed price for 2 night room only stays. Room rates may vary in price dependent on the day of the week, season and grade of room booked. Hotels may offer other promotional rates outside of Your M&S Short Breaks and readers should check with the hotel at the time of booking.
4. A continental breakfast may be offered as part of the promotion and an additional charge may be required for other breakfast options. Please check with your chosen hotel about breakfast arrangements under the offer. Some rooms may be excluded from the offer and/or may only be available at an additional charge. Please check with your chosen hotel. Stated exclusion periods, eg, Christmas or New Year are for guide purposes only and may also exclude days prior to and after the exclusion period.
5. Hotels may allow children to share a room with two adults under this promotion at no extra charge. Please check with the hotel at the time of booking.
6. Readers must confirm with their chosen hotel regarding facilities for people with disabilities, children and dogs and should check at the time of booking whether any of these requirements carry an additional charge.
7. Readers must call their hotel of choice to book their stay, stating clearly that they wish to take part in Your M&S Short Breaks. This promotion is offered subject to availability at the hotel’s discretion. All hotel reservations under the offer must be made no more than 30 days in advance of your stay. A hotel may refuse to accept a booking if it is over its capacity. Hotels reserve the right to refuse a booking if it is not in the spirit of these terms and conditions.
8. A deposit and written confirmation may be required by a hotel to secure your booking and in the event of cancellation the hotel will, at its discretion, apply its normal cancellation terms. Readers should check with the hotel at the time of booking.

10. This offer applies to advance reservations only. You must state at the time of booking that you are participating in Your M&S Short Breaks. Each hotel has limited availability for this offer so early booking is advised.
11. To take advantage of this offer, readers must collect the voucher printed in the January/February edition of Your M&S. A completed voucher will allow up to two people to take advantage of the discounted room rate promotion and stay together in a standard double room. Single rooms may be made available at the hotel’s discretion. Please check with the hotel at the time of booking.
12. The completed voucher must be handed in on arrival at your chosen hotel. The promotion as described above may not be honoured if you do not declare that you are taking part in Your M&S Short Breaks offer at the time of booking. There is no restriction on the number of vouchers that can be redeemed by readers throughout the duration of the offer.
13. Photocopied, counterfeits, other reproductions or defaced vouchers will not be accepted by participating hotels. Neither the Promoter, its agents, nor participating hotels can accept any responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged vouchers.
14. Bookings must be made and completed between January 8, 2010 and April 30, 2010. Individual hotels may exclude specific dates or holiday periods.
15. All charges and incidental costs incurred are the responsibility of the reader.
16. The Promoters reserves the right to vary or amend the promotion and the reader agrees that no liability shall attach to the Promoter as a result thereof.
17. The Promoter is responsible for the first part of the offer – that is, provision of vouchers. All other facilities connected with this offer are contributed by, and are the responsibility of the individual hotels participating in the offer.
18. All details and descriptions have been supplied by the participating hotels and are believed to be correct at the time of going to print and live online. Hotel rates may change but the applicable discount rate shall be applied to the new rates.
19. Neither the Promoter, nor its agents, can accept any responsibility for any discrepancies, inaccuracies or misconceptions given or construed.
20. Any dispute or complaint must, in the first instance, be brought to the attention of the hotel. The Promoter is happy to investigate any unresolved problems. However, it cannot be held responsible for the actions of individual hotels. 21. The promotion will cease to be available if any individual hotel changes ownership or goes into receivership after the publication of the magazine unless decided otherwise at the discretion of the new management of that hotel.
